- Manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Anaplastology will be required to be sent to the managing Editor via the secure file sharing service of the International Journal of Anaplastology at:rmann@ufl.edu.
- Once appraised for fundamental requirements they will be sent to the Editor-in-Chief Jerry Schoendorf. The manuscript will be then distributed to a section editor.
- The author’s name will be removed from the paper.
- The section editor will select two editorial peer review experts to review the paper. If a section editor feels there is not an appropriate expert for a particular paper, the paper will be reviewed by an expert from outside the review board.
The review will take place according to the guidelines set out by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors. The section editor will be responsible for liaising with the author and then return the edited paper to the editor in chief with recommendations.
The Editor-in-Chief has final responsibility to determine the editorial content of the journal.
The IAA holds the publication of its journal with paramount importance as part of its mission to provide continuing education, research, publication, and advocacy opportunities among professionals involved in restoring malformed or absent parts of the human body through artificial means.
